One of the best way to bring traffic to your website is by leaving comments on other people's blogs. There is another reason why you should start leaving comments. Comments can increase the link popularity of your website. Amazing right? Some people are abusing this method and getting banned by search engines. I'm going to tell you how you can use the method effectvely.

1) You need to find blogs that are relevant to your website. If your website deals with stocks, then you have to find blogs that talk about stocks. If you use blogs that are not relevant to your website, leaving comments is just a waste of time. I have left comments on blogs that are not relevant to my blogs before, and it only have negative effect on my PR. So Do not Do it. You will regret.

2) Read post on people's blogs first. You have to know what posts are talking about. Then you can leave legitimate comments. Make the comments anywhere from 15 to 50 words. You don't have to leave an article. Few lines that other visitors want to read about.

3) Before submmiting your comments, make sure you put your website address so you will be indexed. If you use anchor texts to link back to your website, it is more effective. When choosing anchor text, make sure that texts are relevant to your website.
